A safe, central heating, and an iron in our deluxe king room were useful during stay. Had private bathroom with all essentials...

Our stay was a perfectly pleasant experience. It was a quaint hotel in a nice safe area, near a supermarket, all restaurants and shops near by and the seedier industrial areas. The location was absolutely perfect and magnificent and the services were good. Moreover, it was 3 km from a massive mosque.

The Hotel is basically designed for people on the road in new Jersey - not sure if I would stay there while in New york.

The location was perfect to where our intended event was held. I was surprised by the nice decor inside the lobby. The rooms are clean and has all the amenities one would need. The price is really affordable too. Would highly recommend this place and will come back here again.
As a health conscious person, I did not like their free continental breakfast because they served nothing but sugary, high carbohydrate food, so we ended looking for another place to eat breakfast.

I had made 2 reservations through Booked.net but when we arrived at the Kenilworth Inn they only had a record of 1 reservation. It did not seem to bother them that there was a problem, I guess since they did have another available room...but it bothered me! Also this survey consists of answering more than 4 questions.

The Kenilworth's decor is sophisticated yet cozy, with beautifully appointed common areas that are accessible and inviting. I particularly enjoyed the spacious bathroom in my room, clean and well-maintained.
More dining options would enhance the experience.

The Kenilworth provided an really good experience during my 12-day business rotation in Hillside. The complimentary shuttle service to and from work was convenient. The staff, particularly Michael, diligently organized a nice trip to NYC, complete with a detailed map and train schedules. Their responsiveness during my dental emergency was excellent, arranged timely transport and assistance with medication. The restaurant's fried pickles were a highlight. The proximity to an ACME grocery store was beneficial for preparing lunches.
Pricing seemed a bit high considering amenities.

The location - close to the freeway and close to path (train) to New York city. Good infrastructure close by (supermarket, post office, liquor store and small restaurants)
The hotel is dated and needs renovation badly. Everything is damaged. The biggest disappointment was the cleaning crew. The rooms were never cleaned proper during the stay.

The Kenilworth is a great spot that really caters to families. We loved the nearby eateries and the cozy atmosphere was perfect for our stay with two dogs. The cleanliness and modern design were excellent. Plus, we had a wonderfully relaxing visit exploring the area.
In my wife's opinion, it would be great if they had an outdoor area for the dogs to play. My kids wished there were more activities available on-site.
